Use the convenient Arc-Twin 110A Locator to assist when you have to notch both ends of a tube or pipe and want to to insure that both notches will be in perfect alignment.
Simply pull the handle back to allow you to insert your part into the Arc-Twin for notching the 2nd tube end. Position the part with the already notched end facing you. Slide the handle forward, and the Locator post will fit into the previously notched end to guarantee orientation. The Locator can be adjusted for when you need a different, but consistent alighnment, for example, one end notched perpendicular (180°) from the opposite end.
The 110A Locator ships in a 24″ length and mounts to the front of your Arc-Twin Die Set tool or your Arc-Twin Machine. If you need to orient longer parts, you can build your own structure at the required distance and attach the locator to is (insuring the support is square, level and inline with the centerline of your tube or pipe.
